The only thing I did not make myself were the sounds, but I did process them through Audacity. Then I used BlockBench and a plug-in to export the model and the animations. I started with the designing (writing on a document basically) then I did the model with no textures in BlockBench, gave it a temporary ugly texture, animations and then refined texture with Aseprite. Yes, I've made everything for them from scratch. They cannot be tamed but I'll do research on how friendly they can get in households. They cannot poop and I don't think I'll add this because they already fart and no other mob do drop poop. They cannot be pet right now, but I thought about it and make them lie on their back to ask for scratches on the belly. They spawn in swamps and rivers! They like these environments in real life. Promenade is a 1.19.3 Java Fabric mod, and if you want only the Capybara you can always disable all other features. The mod is named Promenade and I'm not risking any rulebreaking by posting a link to it. There is also a very rare variant (albino) that has 1/50 chance of spawning. It can occasionally fart and babies have larger eyes. This was achieved by a full month of work! I'm really proud of this capybara since I've built it from scratch: model, texture, sounds, AI, animations. (#spoiler) = neat!
